About Kim
I am a licensed professional counselor who offers individual, couples, and family therapy.
I have a master’s degree in transpersonal counseling psychology from Naropa University and over 10 years of experience in the field. I work with clients of all ages and backgrounds, helping them cope with various issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, bipolar disorder, self-esteem, life transitions, and spirituality. I also teach mindfulness skills to prevent burnout and secondary trauma to individuals and groups of helping professionals.
I believe that counseling is a resource that anyone can use to safely explore and navigate all of life’s experiences. I tailor my approach to each client’s needs and goals, using a variety of therapeutic models such as gestalt, mindfulness-based, and solution-focused therapy. I also collect feedback from clients during every session to ensure that they are satisfied with the process and the outcomes. I aim to help clients resolve distress, cultivate awareness, and build greater life satisfaction.
Contact me today to see how taking the first step can benefit you and those around you. Sessions can take place in my office, by video, or by telephone.
